European Youth Academy
European Youth Academy is for Teenage American and European Boys, experiencing emotional, behavior, or academic problems within their homes, schools, or society. Located in the heart of Central Europe, European Youth Academy maintains a highly trained staff of licensed professionals to meet the needs of each resident.
With over 15 years experience in helping teens from countries throughout Europe, the program has recently added a facility for American teenage boys. The American facility admits teens from the United States or US families living overseas.
Our Program
European Youth Academy has developed an effective program that offers a High Quality Pro Active approach to treatment for the resident at a cost of half that found in similar programs located in the US. The resident learns to use a cognitive approach to dealing with daily problems that confront them in home, school and among their peer groups. European Youth Academy teaches the teen to make correct decisions that yield desired results. The primary aim of the program is to equip the teen to be successful after they leave the program. In addition, each resident is required to keep up with their academics and is provided the highest quality instruction and teachers.
European Youth Academy takes great pride in maintaining it's program, staff and facilities on basis equivalent to The Highest Quality Residential Treatment Centers located in the Continental United States. European Youth Academy is committed to the ideal that there is a direct correlation between quality and success, and the smallest details are considered important and are not overlooked in the treatment of each resident. In a word, European Youth Academy provides residents with a safe, clean and well maintained environment in which to interact with the program.
Location
European Youth Academy is ideally located in the heart of Europe within driving access to 4 prime countries (Austria, Germany, Poland, and The Czech Republic). The Facility itself is located in a rustic Bavarian forest near the picturesque town of Liberec in the Northern Czech Republic. Just a few miles from the border with Germany, and Poland, the facility consists of a primary resident facility which houses the resident rooms as well as living rooms, activity rooms, a kitchen, dining room, class rooms and a computer lab. European Youth Academy has outdoor recreation facilities including a swimming pool, and an athletic game area. The surrounding area offers many opportunities for physical and cultural activities for the residents. Residents that have reached sufficient progress are able to participate in outings and activities that include both physical and cultural enrichment activities, as well as excursions to fascinating historical and cultural sites in the 4 country area.
